Introduction

Women Business Leaders (WBL) is MIT’s largest undergraduate diversity business club. Founded in 2005, WBL (previously the Network of Sloan Undergraduate Women, NSUW) aims to bring learning, collaboration, and professional development opportunities to undergraduate women through professional events, mentorship, and business education seminars. Our largest events include a variety of student industry panels, guest speakers, and women in business seminars.

WBL is always open to new members and collaboration with corporations, non-profits, educational institutions, and other groups. For more information, please reach out to us at wbl-exec@mit.edu.

Letter from the Presidents

Hi there! Welcome to the WBL community.

As we embark on our educational journeys at MIT, there is no one greater gift than that of a supportive, innovative community. In a world driven by a network of human connections, curiosity, innovation, and passion, WBL stands to empower individuals to apply their skills and imaginations towards exploration within the business world and beyond. WBL is the leading undergraduate diversity business club at MIT. Diversity is one of our greatest gifts, and WBL seeks to strengthen connections between undergraduates and alumni to encourage multi-faceted personal and professional growth.

Throughout the year, some of our favorite programming include monthly coffee chats; networking events with top consulting, finance, and tech companies; inter-club socials and mixers; and WBL’s high school conference. The power of MIT Women Business Leaders pushes dedicated future leaders to grow, forms lifelong relationships amongst like-minded MIT women undergraduates, and empowers women to become leaders in finance, consulting, technology, and entrepreneurship.

We are excited for you to become a part of our mission, and please feel free to reach out with any ideas or inquiries. We look forward to your involvement.

With gratitude,

Janet Liu and Melinda Liu
